Sea Freight

Sea freight continues to be one of the world’s most used service for shipping large volumes of freight from overseas. Everything from cars to televisions, machinery to agricultural products, all end up shipping typically by sea.

Cargo is loaded into a container at the factory. A truck will take the container from the factory to the port where it will be loaded onto a ship headed for the destination port. Once the container arrives, it is either unloaded into a truck or the container is placed on a truck and it heads to the next destination, usually a warehouse of distribution center. The cost of sea freight shipping can be as little as a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars per container.
